Our student ministry exists to help students know Jesus, follow Him daily, and make Him known. Everything we do is centered on discipleship—teaching students God’s Word, helping them grow in their faith, and challenging them to live it out in their everyday lives.
We believe life change happens in community, which is why life groups are a key part of who we are. In those smaller settings, students build real relationships, ask honest questions, and grow alongside others who are walking through the same season of life.
We are committed to creating an environment where every student feels seen, welcomed, and valued—no matter where they come from or where they are in their faith journey.

D.J. Robertson
Youth Pastor
DJ Robertson serves as the Youth Pastor with a deep passion for seeing students come to know and follow Jesus. Originally from Kingsport, DJ graduated from Sullivan South High School in 2019 and is currently continuing his theological training at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, pursuing a degree in Pastoral Ministry.
DJ's heart for youth ministry is deeply personal—his life was transformed through the impact of faithful leaders who invested in him as a student. Because of that, he is committed to creating environments where students can encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and realize they are called to live on mission right now, not just someday.
He is passionate about teaching God’s Word in a way that is clear, engaging, and rooted in Scripture, helping students not only understand the Bible but actually live it out in their everyday lives. Whether it’s through weekly gatherings, discipleship, or simply showing up for students where they are, DJ desires to see the next generation raised up to follow Christ boldly.
DJ lives life alongside his family—his wife, Breanna, and their daughter, Marley—who are a huge part of his ministry and calling. Together, they love building relationships, investing in others, and being a part of what God is doing in the local church.
