Reaching New Heights with Jesus!
“My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:2
At CHBC Kids, our vision is to help children reach new heights with Jesus by discipling them to know, love, and follow Him.
We want every child—from preschool through elementary—to grow in faith, confidence, and truth, knowing they are deeply loved, supported, and encouraged in their walk with Christ.
We teach biblical truth in age-appropriate ways through hands-on activities, games, pretend play, worship, and meaningful conversations.
We believe discipleship is relational, so we invest in kids beyond the classroom—showing up, celebrating big moments, offering encouragement, and using everyday interactions as opportunities to point them to Jesus.
As children grow in their faith, our prayer is that they will not only follow Jesus but also learn to lead others toward Him.
We disciple children today so they can reach new heights with Jesus and disciple others tomorrow.

Ashleigh McCloud
Director of Ministries to Families with Preschoolers & Children
Ashleigh loves helping kids discover who Jesus is and encouraging them to live out what they learn from Scripture in their everyday lives. She believes that even the simplest act of kindness or a few words like, “Jesus loves you,” can plant a seed that God uses to change someone’s day—or even their life. Watching children grow in their faith and boldly share God’s love with others is one of the most rewarding parts of her ministry.
Outside of church, Ashleigh stays busy with her two children, Peyton and Olivia, cheering them on at sports events and dance activities. She also enjoys spending time with family back home in Virginia, reading, and caring for her two dogs and cat.
Ashleigh is grateful for the opportunity to partner with families as they nurture their children’s faith, and she looks forward to helping the next generation know, love, and follow Jesus.
